10 Tips to Build Muscle and Strength

Here are 10 tips to help you build muscle quickly. I am trying for posting one a day for the next few weeks.

These tips will keep you focused or help to get back on track..

You gotta do the Squat:

Barbell Squats are a great exercise to build muscle quickly. If you are going to squat, learn how to do it properly to avoid injury and to improve its effectiveness.

According to strength coach Mark Rippetoe partial squats are damaging. If you only do a partial you can add more weight that your body and skill cannot cope with.

You should be squatting down until your thighs are AT LEAST parallel to the floor. Learn to squat in good form with the correct weight to allow you to keep that good form.

    Most of us would like to be leaner and become stronger or just plain want to have bigger muscles all round.
    I got back into weight train after a lot of years off with one purpose to negate the effects of getting older.
