I was lucky enough to win some Health and Strength magazines from the 1930,s on ebay. There was so many great physiques that anybody would be please to emulate today. They do look light compared with the bulk of today. Bearing in mind this is well before the introduction of Dianabol in the mid 50s which started introducing bulk and mass. They did look very statuesque. The tready supplements of the time were the likes of Oxley's Muscle Food, Iron Jelliods, Vitapon interestingly non of the ingredients are mentioned! And long before Royce Gracie jumped in the octogon Ju-Jitsu is often mentioned in articles and various mail order course's.

Most of us would like to be leaner and become stronger or just plain want to have bigger muscles all round. I got back into weight train after a lot of years off with one purpose to negate the effects of getting older.
