Understanding Hypertrophy is a must for effective natural bodybuilding muscle and strength weight training routines. When you do a bodybuilding weight training session you work your muscles to failure you are causing microscopic tears in the fibres which make up the muscle. The body repairs these tears adding a little bit more size to the diameter of the fibre and also adds a little more strength to allow it to cope better with the trauma caused by training next time. This repair process is called Hypertrophy. It is essential for bodybuilding as it is how muscles grow bigger. You must train hard enough to cause the muscles damage so they can repair themselves bigger and better than they were. |
